Dr. Silas Jennings, DC

Dr. Silas Jennings is a licensed chiropractic physician with over six years of clinical and operational experience, currently serving as Director of Patient Care at Back in Motion Disc & Joint in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He leads the clinical strategy and delivery of care, ensuring every patient receives focused, evidence-informed treatment, tailored to their goals and long-term wellness.

A proud product of Northwest Louisiana, Dr. Jennings completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University of Shreveport before earning his graduate degree from Parker University in 2019. His educational background, combined with years of hands-on clinical experience, has shaped a practical, results-driven approach to musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Jennings is certified in Master Dry Needling and Activator Methods and has extensive experience treating patients ranging from wellness-based care to complex personal injury cases, as well as complex neuromusculoskeletal conditions. His philosophy centers on restoring function, improving movement quality, and empowering patients to take ownership of their health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jennings is passionate about fitness, performance, and longevity-focused training — principles that strongly influence his approach to rehabilitation and preventative care.

Massage Therapist

Josh Gautreau, LMT

Josh Gautreau LMT is a proud Louisiana native and true Cajun who has called the state home his entire life. He loves cooking, boiling crawfish, barbecue, and just about anything that brings people together. He is also a passionate supporter of LSU Football, LSU Athletics, and, of course, the New Orleans Saints—Who Dat!

With more than 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Josh has built a strong background in both chiropractic and physical therapy. He has also been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 16 years and has seen firsthand how therapeutic massage can make a meaningful difference in helping people manage pain and myofascial issues.

Josh attended Medical Training College, where he received the education needed to pass his state and national board exams and earn his massage therapy license. Ever since his early teens, he has had a strong desire to help others. That calling has stayed with him throughout both his personal and professional life. Serving others and helping people in any way he can is not just what he does—it is what he lives for.

Kaylee Sharpe

Raised in Baton Rouge, Kaylee Sharpe is proud to serve the community that helped shape her personal and professional values. A 2019 Honor Roll graduate, she continued her education at Louisiana State University from 2019 to 2023, studying pre-medicine, nutritional sciences, and fashion merchandising—building a well-rounded academic foundation and strong analytical skill set.

With seven years of customer service experience, including sales, she brings a consistent focus on professionalism, efficiency, and relationship-building. In her role as a front desk chiropractic assistant, she plays a key part in managing daily front office operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, clear communication, and an organized, welcoming environment. She also oversees financial processes with accuracy and attention to detail, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the practice. Her certifications in CPR and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy further reflect her commitment to patient care and safety.

Her background in competitive athletics—including 14 years of softball, along with cheer, dance, volleyball, and track—has instilled discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Overcoming juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in childhood, along with two knee surgeries, has strengthened her resilience and deepened her commitment to health and wellness.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travel, music, film, and spending time with animals. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining operational excellence, and creating a positive, seamless experience for every patient she serves in the Baton Rouge community.

Therapy Assistant

Mia Palma

Mia Palma is a driven and ambitious Therapy Assistant from Covington, Louisiana, currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with plans to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. At just 19, she brings a strong blend of academic focus and hands-on experience that sets her apart early in her career.

She spent two years as a student athletic trainer, working directly with athletes in injury prevention, recovery, and performance support. In addition, her three years as a competitive powerlifter at Fontainebleau High School have given her a practical, real-world understanding of strength, biomechanics, and physical resilience—experience that translates directly into patient care.

Mia is certified in CPR and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), reinforcing her commitment to both safety and advanced recovery methods. Her background allows her to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and functional performance, helping patients not only recover but improve.

With a strong work ethic and a clear vision for her future in physical therapy, Mia is dedicated to helping others achieve optimal health, peak performance, and long-term wellness.
